Established in 1997 to offer halal and healthy products, Akdeniz Toros has been performing its commercial activitiesunder the brand AKDENİZ TOROS since 2007 in its new modern facility with an open area of 4500 m2 and a closed area of 2.800 m2 in Kurtköy, Istanbul. In addition, it still processes winged white meat in its integrated facilities with an open area of 73.000 m2 and a closed area of 5.400 m2 in Kaynarca, Adapazarı. With its organization spread throughout Turkey, it gives serve to its consumers whose primary preference is halal and healthy products.
While preparing its products, Akdeniz Toros pays attention to slaughter in red and white meat without electric shocks and in accordance with Islamic standards. However, in the chicken group, it prepares its products by dry plucking method without boiling in hot water. Akdeniz Toros, which is the leader of the dry plucking chicken sector, contributes to the agricultural development of the regions where it has facilities by prefering to provide employment for the people of the region where it is established with its organization throughout Turkey, and thus to use the added value, which can be obtained in this way, at the place where it arises.
